A year full of reasons to celebrate

We are thrilled to welcome Bronte Mollison of The Australian Ballet Company to KWDA for an exclusive ballet masterclass! This special opportunity is open to students from all dance studios, giving young dancers the chance to learn, be inspired and experience a class with a professional ballerina. With separate Junior and Senior sessions, dancers can refine their technique, explore their artistry and enjoy an unforgettable morning of ballet. Bronte is KWDA Alumni.

Our themed holiday workshops are filled with dancing, creativity and fun, giving children the chance to step into a magical world for the day. From dressing up and enjoying royal adventures at Princess Day to learning high-energy choreography and unleashing their inner superstar at Pop Star Day, there is something for every young dancer. With dance classes, games, activities and plenty of opportunities to make new friends, our holiday workshops build confidence and create special memories at KWDA.

Fairy Tea Party is an enchanting weekend workshop filled with dancing, imagination and a little touch of fairy magic. Children can dress in their favourite fairy outfits and enjoy a magical dance class, games, activities and a special fairy tea party with new friends. It’s a beautiful opportunity for little ones to build confidence, explore their creativity and make magical memories at KWDA.

Big Little Fest at Coorparoo Square is a wonderful community event bringing local families together for a day of fun, entertainment and activities. KWDA loves being part of the festivities, giving our dancers the opportunity to perform, share their love of dance and represent our studio within the local community. It’s always a fantastic day filled with energy, smiles and community spirit!

Unicorn Ballet Ball is a magical holiday workshop filled with dancing, sparkle and enchanting unicorn fun. Children can dress in their favourite unicorn or ballet-inspired outfits and enjoy a beautiful themed dance class, games, creative activities and plenty of imaginative play. It’s a magical opportunity to make new friends, build confidence and create special memories in a colourful world of ballet and unicorns.

The KWDA Break-Up Pool Party is the perfect way to celebrate an incredible year of dancing, achievements and friendships together. Our dancers can relax, have fun, swim and enjoy spending time with their KWDA friends away from the studio. It’s a wonderful end-of-year celebration filled with laughter, memories and plenty of fun in the sun!

The Performance Team Trophy Presentation is a special celebration recognising the dedication, achievements and growth of our dancers throughout the competition season. Students come together with their teammates to celebrate their hard work, memorable performances and the friendships created along the way. It’s a wonderful opportunity to reflect on an incredible season and make every dancer feel proud of all they have achieved.

Our London & Paris Dance Trip was an unforgettable adventure combining our love of dance, travel and friendship. Dancers experienced inspiring classes and performances while exploring two of the world’s most iconic cities and creating memories together beyond the studio. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the international world of dance, strengthen friendships and share an incredible journey with our KWDA family.

Our USA Dance Trip to New York City and Los Angeles was an unforgettable adventure filled with dance, inspiration and incredible experiences. Dancers had the opportunity to take classes, experience the excitement of the American dance industry and explore two of the world’s most iconic cities. It was a once-in-a-lifetime journey that strengthened friendships, broadened horizons and created unforgettable memories with our KWDA dance family.

Join us for three fun-filled mornings of dancing, creativity and adventure at our Summer Dance Camp! Designed especially for children aged 4–9 years, each day is packed with exciting dance classes, imaginative games, creative activities and plenty of opportunities to make new friends. Each day, campers will enjoy a wonderful mix of dance, movement, crafts, music and play in a safe, supportive and fun environment. Whether your child already loves to dance or is trying it for the first time, Summer Dance Camp is the perfect way to stay active, build confidence and create unforgettable holiday memories.

Get ready for one of our favourite weeks of the year! During Halloween Dress-Up Week, dancers are invited to come to class dressed in their favourite Halloween costume or spooky accessories for a week of dancing, games and frightfully fun activities. It's a wonderful opportunity to celebrate with friends, enjoy themed classes and create magical memories while still learning and dancing. Costumes should be safe to move in, allowing every dancer to join in the fun!



Slip into your favourite pyjamas and join us for a cosy evening of ballet, friendship and fun! Dancers will enjoy a beautiful ballet-themed movie on the big screen, along with a delicious snack, in a relaxed and welcoming studio atmosphere. It's the perfect chance to unwind, make memories with dance friends and celebrate a shared love of ballet.
